Pre-Sales Generalist
We are partnering with a leading service and solution technology provider to hire a dynamic Pre-Sales Generalist. This individual will play a pivotal role in aligning our innovative technology solutions with client needs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Data Center Infrastructure, Enterprise Cloud Solutions, and End-User Computing, with a passion for building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer value. This position requires in-office presence three days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert knowledge in Data Center Infrastructure, Enterprise Cloud Solutions, and End-User Computing
- Engage with both current and prospective customers to assess technical and business requirements, ensuring all necessary information is gathered for solution design.
- Educate customers on product features, specifications, functionalities, and the implementation process for tailored solutions
- Uncover business challenges and objectives, define strategic approaches, and propose alternative solutions, while cultivating long-term customer relationships
- Design, configure, and size technical solutions efficiently, ensuring timely delivery
- Develop persuasive sales proposals (SOWs), technical documentation, and cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate ROI and business advantages for customers
- Deliver engaging and clear technical presentations to both internal teams and external stakeholders, including at events, webinars, and customer meetings
- Foster collaborative relationships within the organization and externally with clients, keeping stakeholders updated and engaged on key initiatives
- Understand customer business drivers and challenges, ensuring alignment of solutions with their strategic objectives
- Professionally sell technical solutions, converting high-level directives into high-value opportunities
- Provide timely and accurate reports, including activity reports, project forecasts, and KPI updates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of Pre-Sales experience is highly preferred
- Proven experience in Data Center Architecture
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading technical sales campaigns, driving successful outcomes
- Deep knowledge of data center and IT solutions, including storage, networking, compute, virtualization, data protection, data center management/automation, cloud computing, end-user computing, and security
- Prior experience with Value-Added Resellers (VARs) is a plus
- Ability to work effectively both within a team and in partnership environments
- A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and satisfaction
